A "Black Swan Event" is when the unexpected occurs, causing a huge mindshift and change in how the world works. People never imagined that Black Swans existed, until the discovery of the first Black Swan... (as per book "The Black Swan", by Nassim Nicholas Taleb, 2007, that sold over 3 million copies)

Is a perception change the next Black Swan Event? Consider that by changing perception we might change the world. Look at everyday things from different angles. Find beauty in the unexpected...
Change our thinking, change our actions, change our world!

See that all people are part of God's puzzle and have something to give. Black swans do exist. The ugly duckling was actually a swan who needed to discover himself and where he fitted and be who he was meant to be. To the last, the lost and the least, you are beautiful as you are.
May all who visit this page feel God's touch and experience His blessing...

Drowned Out By the Noise

Have you heard an angel sing? I have. At least, Hope sings the way I imagine an angel would sing. When she sings, I am captivated by the melody. I hardly hear the words, though of course the words carry the meaning of the song. What I hear is a voice as of a lilting lullaby. When Hope sings, my mind is enfolded in a soaring escape to beauty and troubles fade from memory for a moment in time. I am transported to where the world is beautiful and dreams do come true.

I have come to hear Hope sing, and I see her standing on the stage. She starts singing, yet all I hear is a cacophony of voices and the noise of the entire choir. Where is the angel's voice, when drowned out by clamour?

I have heard it said many times that there will be no individual acclaim in organisations, only awards for team effort. Yet, if everyone is forced to participate as part of a team, would we hear individual voices meant to stand alone, like Hope's? There must surely be soloists in life, as there are team members, and none of these individuals greater or lesser, merely different roles.
